I was invited to join Ubuntu Wealth Management in 2016 as the Client Relationship Manager and after receiving my accreditation I was promoted to Practice Manager in 2017.
I am originally from South Africa and have lived in the UK since 2013. As Practice Manager, I support the Practice by implementing and managing effective systems, processes and procedures to help drive the business forward whilst also being responsible for all staff team management, client servicing, human resources, business processing, compliance and marketing requirements – but not limited to.
I am also proud to say that we have progressed from Associate Partner Practice and have achieved Partner Practice Status in 2019!

In 2019 I joined the St. James’s Place Academy which provides high calibre individuals an exciting opportunity to build a career in financial planning and wealth management.
Prior to joining Ubuntu, I had a varied career with the main focus being around creating relationships. I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in French Studies, but am yet to put my French skills to use in financial planning.
Outside of work I’m a keen sportsman, having turned my hand to any sport since I was a child, but being Mancunian football has always been the priority!
I joined the Ubuntu team in August 2018 as a Paraplanner. I have over 17 years’ experience within the Financial Services industry and I enjoy
supporting the Practice through researching bespoke technical solutions, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
I have developed valuable industry experience and gained considerable knowledge throughout my working career and have developed a wide range of transferable skills. I am currently working towards my Diploma in Financial Planning and receive excellent help and support of the Partnership and
St. James’s Place.
Out of the office my partner Steve and I look after four huskies which we previously rescued and we really love looking after them.
Originally from Salisbury in Wiltshire I moved to Northwich in 2010.
I have a varied work background from working for Criminal Solicitors to being a Police Constable in Liverpool among other administrative positions in between.
Prior to starting with Garnet at Ubuntu Wealth in August 2015 I was working for an international recruitment company arranging the emergency medical and kidnap and ransom insurance for our contractors ensuring they were all covered at all times.
When I'm not busy working I enjoy spending time at home with my husband and our little girl along with knitting for the local special care baby units.
Over 23 years’ working experience after having studied in the Human Relations field. Coming from a varied industry background with a strong focus on people interaction.
I have recently joined Ubuntu Wealth Management in 2019 as the Office and Accounts Administrator.
I have a passion for adventure and when not in the office enjoy travelling and exploring. I consider myself somewhat of a foodie and lover of the outdoors.
