Based in Northwich, I provide wealth management advice to clients both within the town, and more widely throughout the North West of England.
Prior to joining the financial services industry, I spent 8 years working in retail industry as an entrepreneur, having several retail businesses and practiced as a consulting Homoeopath and natural health practitioner. As a consequence, I have now established many working relationships with individuals within the retail and small business sector due, in part, to the insight and understanding that I have for their specific financial requirements.
I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development. In 2017 I achieved The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) advanced diploma in financial services and was awarded the prestigious ‘Chartered Financial Planner’ title.
Chartered status is an exclusive title only awarded to individuals that meet rigorous criteria relating to professionalism and capability. All Chartered Financial Planners commit to the CII’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings. As at October 2017, just over 5,000 individuals have achieved Chartered status (CII), indicating that this is a highly exclusive award reserved for the leading individuals within the financial advice market.
I have always prided myself on being thoroughly professional in everything I do, and to receive external recognition in this way is very gratifying. As a Chartered Financial Planner, I can signal my commitment to the highest levels of service to my clients. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that I am able offer a rounded, professional service.
I am often asked about the meaning of Ubuntu, “Ubuntu is an African philosophy which explains that, as humans we are connected, and our actions affect one another, therefore, we should strive to act morally and for the greater good.” This philosophy is core to my business and personal life.
Outside of my business, I am a keen Family man and Martial artist practising Taekwon-Do with my two sons and teach as a 5th degree Black Belt. I also served as President of the Northwich Rotary Club in 2014-15 and do my best to stay fit while helping to raise money for Charites including the
St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation and staying active in my local Rotary Club.
